It has been likened to an eagle\u2019s nest, as the fields slope steeply down from the sunny south-facing patio, giving uninterrupted and breathtaking views of the beautiful Swaledale scenery. You can enjoy the feeling of remoteness and peace, but are within half a mile\u2019s walk of the award winning local gastro pub The Punchbowl Inn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laykin is perfect for families, including children, and groups of friends. Walkers, birdwatchers, stargazers (Enjoy the dark night sky), botanists, cyclists and those needing a total break in a quiet location. It\u2019s the perfect escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Facilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laykin sleeps 7 in its 4 bedrooms, and there are 3 bathrooms. It has a large kitchen diner, a sitting room with a woodburning stove as well as a large coat and boot room. All of the furniture is new and modern lending it a cosy and warm feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of the bedrooms have pocket sprung matresses with Egyptian cotton bed linen, the floors are carpetted in all of the bedrooms. There is a master bedroom, a double bedroom (option to setup as a twin), a twin room and a single room. The kitchen diner is designed around cooking and entertaining, with a ceramic hob, a Rayburn and a fan oven. There is a large American fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, hifi and cooking equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The garden is enclosed, with a south facing terrace and breathtaking views. There is ample parking available, as well as an outside table, sun loungers and a barbecue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laykin is equipped with underfloor heating, as well as additional radiators. There is a washing machine and tumble drier. Toys, games, high char, cot and stair gates are supplied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unfortunately Laykin is unsuitable for wheelchair users.
